Ikea spend $200 million to build the world's largest supply chain center Malaysia

瑞典家具零售巨头宜家（IKEA）宣布，将投资 9.08亿林吉特（马来西亚货币单位，约合 2.12亿美元）在马来西亚建造一座全球最大的区域分销和供应链中心。
周二，马来西亚投资发展局（MIDA）在一份声明中表示，此次建造的供应链中心将管理宜家价值 66亿林吉特的库存商品，以支持宜家在东南亚国家联盟（ASEAN）地区的发展。
宜家花2亿刀马来西亚建全球最大供应链中心
新建的供应链中心的面积达到 10万平方米，将为该区域现有的 12家零售门店供货。宜家计划到 2026年将东南亚地区的门店数量增长至20家。
马来西亚是宜家的一个重要市场，该国的零售门店是宜家全球范围内客流量最多的门店之一。
国际贸易与工业部部长 Mustapa Mohamed 表示：“供应链中心的建立给宜家计划将马来西亚作为区域分销中心增加了动力。这里是进入亚洲的首选物流门户，也符合国内物流、贸易便利化规划和国家电子商务战略路线图的纲领。”
马来西亚一直鼓励本地大型企业和跨国公司通过各种举措增强商业贸易往来，这包括了允许企业集中采购和分销等进行全球性活动的主要计划。
在过去几年，宜家的零售运营所有权归属于主要经销商 IKEA Group ，包括：购物中心和食品零售；而供应链管理和设计业务由宜家品牌所有人、特许经营授权人 Inter IKEA 全面负责。
截至 2016年8月的财年中，拥有世界范围内大多数宜家实体门店的 IKEA Group 的线上销售额同比上涨了 30%，达到 14亿欧元；总销售额同比上涨了 7%，达到 342亿欧元。
